Review film "At the end of the spectrum"

"At the end of the spectrum" has been the best Colombian film of suspense and terror of last times. The film does not seem to be done in colombia because it has a excellent production. This film has turned into the movie that is going to revolutionize the Colombian cinema because it has a wonderful technical quality. This film was a succesful last year and it shocked so much to the whole world that was bought by USA and soon the same movie will be done but with the participation of Nicole Kidman.

In 'At the end of The spectrum', it tells the history of Vega, who suffers a strong traumatic experience and starts suffering from agoraphobia. She meets obliged to happen a time removed from her work, and for recommendation of her father she decides to change to a new apartment, where practically she begins to live as an ermitaña, her life changes radically, sees things that cannot explain and listens to voices that she can not ignore. There she begins her calvary.

This film was directed by Juan Felipe Orozco and it was written by Carlos Esteban Orozco and Juan Felipe Orozco. The film has a fantastic characters: Noelle Schonwald is Vega the main character, her performance was perfect; Julieth Restrepo is Tulipán, antogonist character, she is neighbour`s Vega althought his performance was not good she is who constantly chase to Vega and She crosses for a crisis that messes up the life, but not only her, but also her with whom they her surround; Silvia de Dios is Carmen, Tulipán`s mother, in her performance she demostrated because she is one of the best actresses of the country, Carmen is alcoholic and careless woman; Carlos Serrato is Neighbour of Vega and Tulipán, her physical appearance helped to that his performance was believable; Manuel José Chavés is Jairo who was ex-boyfriend of Vega, his performance is short but it is the one that unleashes the whole history of Vega, and Kepa Amuchastegui, who interprets the father of Vega and he is a fundamental support for she, his performance is good becuase it has the characteristic of any father.

As all film, it has good aspects and bad aspects. The good aspects of this film are: first, the film is successful well. The history is an innovation, it combines accurately ideas and schemes of American and Japanese movies of terror, under customs and forms Colombian of life. Second, the film has a excelent lighting, up shots, extreme closes up, long shots, photograph, edition, sound, music and good quality of color that help to simulate the night and of presenting the shades and the images of television without brightness. Third, it has an end that surprises, good managing of the blood and the death and fourth, the most important is that the film is of terror and fiction because the colombians already had been bored of that in Colombia alone made movies of drug, trafficking, war and prostitution.

The bad aspects are: first, the film is slow, his scenes and dialogues are long what done that the film lose his dinamic of fail and second, this is typhical film of terror where appear a girl with black hair and white skin on a large jar.

"At the end of the spectrum" is a fabolous film where you can to feel scared and anguish same time. Besides, this film demostred the evolution has had colombian cinema so much of form as of essence. This is the best film of terror made in Colombia with excellent production and characters. This film is worth a sorrow seeing her in family, analyzing it and because not to have it in dvd to remember the first Colombian film bought in Hollywood.
